Being a waitress, being a comic, and also listening to Amy Poehler’s Yes Please on Audible, I found I was able to relate to this quote:
“How a person treats their waitress is a great indication of their character.” – Amy Poehler

Tweet from a dead famous person:
Benjamin Franklin
BeFrank1706: Got my face on the hundo. Didn’t even have to become pres. #winning #murrica #justkidding #france #letsgoflyakite #iinventedbifocals
Anna Nicole Smith
ASmi_Nikky: It’s not until after you die that you learn how many people had gambled death pools on you. #truthbomb
Jack Lemmon
SourWedgieJohnny: Filming “Some Like It Hot” is what made me a feminist man. When it comes to understanding women, you could say I walked in their shoes.
“I think we should stop asking people in their twenties what they “want to do” and start asking them what they don’t want to do.”– Amy Poehler
Yesterday I finished one year at Missouri State University.
In one year from now, I will be a college graduate. I can’t really wrap my head around that. I can’t wrap my head around the concept of some of my friends being college graduates.
Yesterday also marked my father’s one year wedding anniversary to my step-mom!
Now I just have a few days to relax before I embark on a roadtrip of great proportions with my mother. We’ll be traveling to Naples, Florida to visit my maternal grandparents, and my mother’s second oldest brother (and aunt and cousins). Along the way we’ll be stopping Tallassee, Alabama to visit my uncle (my mother’s oldest brother). We’ll be back on June 2nd.
On June 4th, I start a summer class at Ozark Technical Community College (it’s basically Springfield’s STLCC). I’ll be taking an American Sign Language class to fulfill my foreign language requirement. And yes, I do realize that American Sign Language isn’t a foriegn language (I’ve been permitted to take it!).
A week after that, I plan on starting improv classes at The Skinny. I am super excited about that. My tax return is going to be my deposit to secure my place in the class. I’m going to keep up a Tumblr about my going-ons in improv and stand-up this summer. I’ve got a few working titles for the new Tumblr, so stay tuned for that.
Bye-bye for now. This will probably be the last post for May. I’ll rear my head again in June.
